Hardware and embedded software development

From circuit design to the user manual,
we build a hardware product all the way through.

RawlsOn is a development company where one team handles PCB and enclosure design, embedded software, and technical documentation. We turn a device that exists only as an idea into a product you can hold.

What we do

Four jobs of product development, done together instead of apart.

When the person drawing the circuit, the person writing the firmware, the person designing the enclosure, and the person writing the manual are all different people, gaps open up between them. We treat the four as one flow.

01

PCB design

Circuit design, part selection, layout, prototype builds, and verification. We design with production in mind, using parts you can actually buy.

02

Enclosure design

3D enclosure design that accounts for the board and the assembly order, 3D-printed prototypes, and drawings prepared for injection molding, sheet metal, and other production methods.

03

Embedded software

MCU firmware, sensor and motor control, communication (USB, BLE, Wi-Fi, serial), and application software for Linux-based devices.

04

Technical documentation

User manuals, installation and maintenance guides, and developer documentation. The people who built the device write the documents, so the two never drift apart.

Fields

The kinds of devices we build.

From input devices handled by hand to cleaning equipment used in clinics, we work on products where mechanics, electronics, and software come together.

Input devices

Devices that try a new way of input, such as keyless keyboards. We design the mechanics, sensors, firmware, and host connection together.

  • Key scanning and sensor input circuits
  • USB HID and BLE connection firmware
  • Enclosures and assemblies that fit the hand

Medical and hygiene equipment

Equipment that must repeat a fixed procedure exactly, such as endoscope cleaning machines. Control sequences, safety interlocks, and logging are built into the design.

  • Valve, pump, temperature, and flow control
  • Cleaning cycle sequencing and history logs
  • Operator screens and maintenance manuals

Custom embedded devices

Measurement, control, and display devices that off-the-shelf products cannot cover. We join from the stage where the requirements are still being worked out.

  • Sensor data collection and transmission
  • Small displays and control panels
  • Control modules that attach to existing equipment
How we work

Build small, confirm, then expand.

We do not promise a finished product on day one. Each stage produces something you can see and check, and we decide together whether to go on to the next.

  1. Requirements

We agree in writing on what to build, how far to take it, and where it will be used.

  2. Proof of concept

We first confirm the core function works, using development boards and off-the-shelf parts.

  3. Design and prototype

We design the PCB and enclosure and build a small batch to verify operation and assembly.

  4. Firmware and testing

We complete the firmware and confirm stability through repeated testing.

  5. Documents and handover

We hand over design files, source code, and the user manual, and support production afterwards.
